When I joined the US Marines in 1986, Albany was a vibrant city full of businesses and life. When I returned in 2010 hundreds of homes and businesses were boarded up, deteriorating and empty. Families and business owners had left our great city for better oppurtunity elsewhere. I want to revitalize our State Capital and bring those families and business owners back to Albany. I need your help to:
Reduce Albany’s budget deficit, which currently stands at a staggering $12 million, rising every year. We must act soon, or Albany could be the next Detroit.
Remove burdensome and unnecessary regulations that are driving jobs away from Albany.
Turn our liabilities into assets. We need to be creative with our unfortunate surplus of vacant buildings and properties.
Join the 21st Century and streamline and modernize the way Albany does business.
